Resiliency of the Philippines

     We all know that Philippines is a disaster prone country and because the Philippines is located in the pacific ring of fire. The Philippine government takes disaster risk seriously and has devoted significant resources to build disaster capacity and reduce population exposure and vulnerability, nationally and locally, what is disaster resiliency? Disaster resilience is the ability of individuals, communities, organisations and states to adapt to and recover from hazards, shocks or stresses without compromising long-term prospects for development. 

     The Philippines is leading a regional  actor in disaster risk management, however a full picture of who is doing what, how, where and when on resilience and disaster preparedness does not exist. As a country frequented by various disaster in  the Philippines is not a matter of where but when so we must be always ready for the future.

    Although there are no short term solution to the array of challenges that the Philippine government encountered or faced in the terms of coping with climate change affected disasters, forming a sepereate department, group or organization that focuses for disaster preparedness and response is a right step forward and a wise decision to improve the country's disaster resilience and helps us to be prepare anytime

Reflection

When the school year started we were ready to learn a lot of thing from our teachers we were ready for new knowledg, new challenges and many more. The topic in our first quarter is about the internet, history of the internet and blog. We have talked and learned about the internet and the great inventors of it and the types of it. I learned and discovered a lot of new things about internet and its history. This will improve my knowledge about technologies  and about the blog at first i thought it was about the videos but when i learned their spelling i was confused

The problems i have encountered in our subject is the blogging we were all task to do this and it is required to finish it all i have problems about the time because i didnt finish most of it in time because i have a lot to do and this can also help my thingking about topics and i am not good at making blogs but ill do it for my grades

I surpassed this challenges by the help of  others i mean my classmates amd thingking that i can do this that i trust myself that i have to do this for my grades and make my knowledge great and can improve by confidence and thoughts about blogging

I will use all the teachings and knowledge i learned in my everyday life and use it in a goodway i will also share this knowledge to my friends and family that i discovered alot and hope to improve my self

THE PROMISE

     SONA DAY. President Rodrigo Duterte greets guests at Batasang Pambansa before delivering his 3rd State of the Nation. And delivers his succeeded promises and projects that he will still generate to make our country peacefully and a amazing place. One of his mention projects is the drug war which we saw that it has progression and also the corruption in the Philippines

     The President did deliver a wonderful message in his State Of The Nations Address or SONA i was amaze and all he lowered the rates of crime and also the numbers of drug user, indeed some of people are afraid of him and some people hate him because of his attitude but for me its a nice asset for a president that he has this traits like that my reaction for his Sona 2018 is a lot of thrill because i want to know what our country will end up in his hands, im also excited for what he can do on his remaining time as our President i am excited too see new things  and more. Duterte highlighted that the war from illegal drugs is far from over and will not be sidelined, instead, it will be as relentless and chilling. 
Duterte said his concern is more on human lives and not human rights. "Illegal drugs wasted away lives, dysfunctionalized families and ruined relationship."
Duterte also addressed that corruption must stop to improve delivery of services. He also warned government agencies to stop red tape. Duterte on Ease of Doing Business Act: "I hereby direct all government units and government agencies to faithfully implement this law and simplify the process."
